This paper reports a novel approach to the use of carbon, in form reduced graphene oxide, as reducing agent for Au(III) chloride complex ions. allows fabrication composite material [email protected]r single-step process. The reduction ions was performed using high pressure, 50 bar, and temperature, 250°C, reactor. average diameter obtained gold nanoparticles below 3 nm. advantage oxide is its surface area. accelerates reaction rate significantly. greenness sustainability process are assessed by green chemistry metrics circularity indicators recently applied first time nanomaterial synthesis.
